Hello

About Me

I'm Conan Law, a trauma-informed psychologist who believes deeply in each person’s capacity to heal, grow, and reconnect—with themselves and with others. My work is grounded in compassion, respect, and the belief that change is always possible. I use EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), DBT, and other evidence-based approaches to support people in processing trauma and reclaiming their sense of self. I aim to create a safe, non-judgmental space where clients feel truly seen, heard, and supported on their journey.

My Story

I was born and raised in Hong Kong, and my journey has taken me across the globe—from studying psychology through exchange programs at the University of Sheffield in the UK and Boston University in the US, to completing my Master’s degree at the University of Glasgow. I now work full-time as a rehab psychologist in Chiang Mai, Thailand.

Growing up in a broken family, I often found myself in the role of a mediator. That early experience shaped me deeply. My own childhood trauma and later recovery from PTSD have inspired my path as a psychologist. I want people to know they are not alone in their struggles—that healing is possible, and there is always hope.

Specialising in EMDR, an evidence-based and often fast-acting trauma therapy, I support others in navigating their healing journeys, just as I have navigated mine. This work is not just professional for me—it’s personal. Because of my own experience with trauma and recovery, I bring a deeply empathetic and non-judgmental presence to my work.

CoKind Therapy is rooted in the belief that recovery and reconnection are within reach. Change is always possible. It’s never too late. Be kind to yourself, and keep going.

Sessions are available in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin to support clients across cultures.
